The replacement brake shoe eccentric has arrived. Thanks Gary! I just need to clean it up and get the installed over this weekend.

On another subject. Sometimes my glove box lock with not unlock with the key, I have to jiggle the key, and then finally, it will turn. So I think he didn't get it exactly right when the locksmith worked on making a key for it.
So I want to pull the lock cylinder out of it and file down any tumblers that may be off. While I have gotten pretty adept and pulling the cylinders out of the door handles using a paper clip. I haven't been able to figure out what the magic is on this glovebox lock to release the cylinder. Any ideas? There is a slot on the side that I've tried to use a paper clip and small screwdriver on with no luck. The hole in the back is for the retainer screw.

If there are no external holes to release a clip, some lock cylinders have a screw in the end to hold them in the housing. On another issue where the hook had to come off Flackmaster mentions a leaf type catch that needs to be depressed for the hook to release. I wonder if it or maybe just the spring needs to come out on yours to access something in the slot that releases the cylinder. Later in that same thread another poster mentions that sometimes the chrome cap needs to come off to see releases or possibly to just pull the cylinder out. Perhaps that could also be the situation with yours.
There is another type release someone else posted that may also be applicable. I do not remember where I found the article to give him credit or if it was for another brand.

Yeah, this one is a bit different. I'll have to play around with it a bit more.

Also, I made and ordered a show board for the '37. It matches the general style of the one I did for the '54. There are not any factory '37 115-C Convertible Coupe advertisements that were made that I could find, so I have to come up with something a little different for the top. I figured since I have not 100% settled on a color, a B/W image was more appropriate.
You can get these 18"x24" Foam Core Poster boards made from VistaPrint for about $40. The one for my '54 I've had for several years now, and they are fairly durable. People always stop to read them at car shows and cruise nights.

Love the board Kev. I've been working on making one up for my Panama. I'm struggling with resolution on the factory photos/advertisements. I'm not sure how it will look on the prints.

Let me do some digging. I had a broken glove box cylinder and bought a replacement a while back. I have the instructions somewhere. I know it was very easy. I'll post it shortly
