Trunk Stewardship

A several years ago I inherited the trunk from my great-grandfather's Packard. Rumor has it that it was the car of my father's youth as he was raised on grandparent's farm in Tulare, CA. The wife and I used it as a coffee table for a couple years but put in in the garage when we had kids. About a year ago our 3-year-old got into it and ripped out some of the liner.

We've recently moved into a small house and don't really have room to store the trunk anymore. I would love to pass it along in the hopes that it might find it's way back onto the back of an appropriate car.

I'm in SE Portland, OR. Please contact me if this is something you might be interested in. I'm not willing to ship it.

cheers, Andy in PDX

Not interested personally, but it is a genuine Kam-Lee trunk for Packards, most appropriate to the years between 1931 and 1934. Having the original suitcases for the interior will enhance the value.

Sounds like the trunk has found a new home on the back of a '32. Pickup Pending.
