Hi

One supposes that '32 Light Eight will set for another few years....until it goes in the owner's estate sale! At least its housed for now.

Back to our efforts on behalf of wayward Packards:

A '49 22nd Eight partially-finish project, looks as if a good deal of the hard, expensive work is done:
flint.craigslist.org/cto/5106406880.html

The '50 Super Deluxe Eight bargain in WI, price lowering:
chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/5125618083.html

A rough '51 300, stick shift, maybe OD parts car:
syracuse.craigslist.org/cto/5119194586.html

A '54 Patrician, looks solid, rough interior, looks like a good start for a desirable topline Packard cheap:

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

I like the 54 Patrician for what you get for $2500. Plus it is a nice black.

The 50 Super Deluxe has been on here before as you know.

Hi

A selection of pre-war choices to covet and pursue:

First, '28 Six parts, know what fits what before buying:
newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/5124453815.html

A presentable '33 Super Eight 1003 five passenger sedan:
dayton.craigslist.org/cto/5122859282.html

A handsome '35 120 club sedan, sidemounts, assume the stern-looking matron isn't included:
greenbay.craigslist.org/cto/5107871170.html

A lovely '37 120C convertible coupe, ivory, fender skirts:
newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5098547127.html

A worthwhile project for someone with deep pockets, a '37 Super Eight club sedan:
newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/cto/5102760593.html

A '39 110 sedan, presentable driver, taxi interior, pricy:
cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/5122365954.html

A rare, lovely '42 Clipper Six Model 2010, ready-to-enjoy:
newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5122614527.html

Steve

Yes, Bryan, I'm promoting that '50 Super Deluxe Eight in Wisconsin, hoping someone will buy it first, it keeps tempting me!

Nice group of ads. Notices a couple of things with the cars.

Interesting turn signal switch on the 120C. Not seen a push button switch like that. What vintage are the parking lights mounted on the front fenders?

Upside down license light and bracket on the trunk of the 39 Six?

Grille "Whiskers" on the 42 Clipper Six? Maybe an ad-on "improvement"?

Pre-war, Packard offered a 'Custom' Six Clipper Sedan [1502]. It had whiskers. Just to make identification a little more complex interesting.

"What vintage are the parking lights mounted on the front fenders?"

John,

Believe they are 1940, sometimes retrofitted to earlier '30's Packards.

Thanks, JD and Mal. Anyone have any info on the push button turn signal switch on the 120C? Obviously a retrofit, but from where?

So I understand - the whiskers are the extension of the grille around the front fenders, right?

I don't like those whisker things. I think the car looks much better without them.
