G'day boothguy,
to PackardInfo. Congratulations on becoming a Packard owner, I invite you to include your '39 110 Business Coupe in the Packard Owner's Registry including a Photo! Speaking of which, posting photos should be a relatively painless operation. Just save them to your device as a not to large JPG file, avoiding uncommon characters in the file name. Then select the files you want to post, using the "Browse" button in the "Attach file" field below when you're posting and go from there. You'll receive a lot of support and advice from the many experienced, knowledgeable and friendly Packard people here.

booth guy, I too have resurrected a 39 Packard (which should be done in a month!) and wish you a lot of fun with your Packard!
Oh, and good luck! Steve

Along with Dr. M, my 39 was also a cast off, but after my own blood sweat and tears, it is a wonderful running car. Love My Packard.

My first Packard was a 1939 Six (no 110 nomenclature until 1940) in similar but still driveable condition so I am looking forward to watching your progress. When I bought mine in the mid-'60s, it wasn't even yet an antique so I was surprised it had gotten into such condition but it had apparently been parked under trees in northern Washington State for many years.

I have tried twice to update this but I am such a slow typist the forum times out and eats my post. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong, as you said the Website times out after a certain time something like 15/20 minutes. My way around it is to "refresh" the post I'm doing every 5 to 10 minutes by clicking on the Preview button on the bottom of the page. Or by saving my post to a secure document along the way. But sometimes I still tend to get caught out by this "quirk".
