I agree, perhaps we just drop the Henney name from the category, and replace it with Commerical.

'54 now looks good and I further reviewed '52 and '53 and according to Gerd's latest check list that should be the lot. Someone may wish to do some spot checks just to make sure.

You're correct. The "PACKARD" lettering on hood and only three porta-vents on rear quarter mark it as a 51.

Packard called them "fender louvers", option code FL, and they were widely ordered and later altered. You're right, their presence or absence isn't definitive.

Hey Kev!
Would anyone be interested in a folder called "Boneyard Packards", which would have a variety of photos of Packards in junkyards across the country. I have over 100 pics of these Packards which I could upload. I find them very sad, but still interesting. Like looking at the current Packard factory pics. Jim Reed 423REED
