Not a TV or Movie appearance, but since there are already a couple of record album covers in this thread, here is one of Jimmy Buffett sitting on the fender of a 46 Clipper. Album is "Before the Beach" released in 1993. The license plate reads "Flying Lady"

Cool! According to 23&Me, Jimmy Buffet and I are distantly related on my mother’s side.

The TV series "Marvel's Agent Carter" (season 2, 2016) featured this 1938 Super 8 convertible sedan. It was seen in many episodes of the show

Another film noir: "Between Midnight and Dawn" 1950 has a chase scene where they smash up a 39 Su8 limo.

You can see it on junktube.

I like film noirs. They are much better than those campy westerns and junk war movies that dominated later on.

Definitely a 38/39 120 by the bonnet trim ,radiator and sidemounts. A very desirable vehicle but not a Super Eight.

If you look closely it has the alternately painted shuttters.

Attached is a snapshot of it heading for the tree. As well, the arrest scene shows the Su 8 door trim same as the 40 Cu 8 180.

Memo to the prop guy...
Re: Upcoming filming, procure impressive old limousine, Packard etc. Budget $200-$300 maximum...need ASAP.

The January 1950 N.A.D.A. Used Car Guide for either the 1939 Super Eight 7-passenger sedan or limousine list the following:
Average Cash Value: $190
Average Base Value: $215
Average Retail Value $285

Price comparable were the 1939 Custom Imperials lwb and Lincoln K lwb models. The Cadillac V8's were about $100 more.

I cannot believe after 32 page nobody posted the 1937 Packard One-Twenty Convertible Coupe in Arthur. I have wanted one for 41 years and finally got my first Packard a month ago. 1941 120 convertible coupe.
