Hi all. I am looking for a set of .001 undersized main bearings for a 1941 356 super eight. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No I actually mean.001. Packard offered them for lightly worn crankshafts to bring clearances back into tolerance. Packard parts #'s 348634,348635 x 6, 348636, and 348637 tomake a full set for nine mains.

Where have you tried without success so far? Last time I checked (quite some years ago) Egge still had the 0.001" OS. And I seem to recall Kanter did as well.

I considered myself to be VERY lucky to have found .002 over for my 1965 Cadillac back in the ‘80s as by the time cars are that old, they are typically ready for a crank regrind if they have not already had one. I doubt you’ll find them for the Packard unless there are some NOS still around. Did you try Max Merritt of Kanter?

The car isn't mine, I am working on it for someone. It is probably already in the registry. 180 1907 LeBaron sport. Was ex Harrah's car. Earl C Anthony delivered.
