Specs attached. Adjustment methods are in the owner's manual and are abbreviated below.

Camber is adjusted by installing the appropriate offset pilot thimbles in the shock absorber arms.

Caster is changed by installing the appropriate tapered shims between the forward end of the torque arm and the lower support arm.

King pin thrust bearings should have preload of 3-1/2 to 5 lbs measured at the end of the spindle.

Toe-in is adjusted by turning both tubes an equal amount, taking care not to move the steering gear off the high spot.

Probably eBay is your best bet although one of the clubs may have reproduced it. I reproduced the 1940 manual (and still have some available) but not 1941. If yours were a 110 or 120, you could download the manual for free and have it printed but I'm not sure about the 160 and 180 manuals.

A hard copy repro (Manual OM-41B) of the 41 160-180 owners manual is available at the PAC online store.

Ok awesome, got the service manual, now next challenge is where can I purchase the thimbles and shims to adjust camber/caster, maybe can't anymore?

G'day autofix,
to PackardInfo.

The Flackmaster might be a source for the thimbles and shims required. He'll also be at Hershey next month.

And, I invite you to include your '41 160 Super 8 in the Packard Vehicle Registry.

This is not my car, I'm just aligning it for a customer and need to know if I can acquire the parts to adjust it.

My memory is not great, but in the ‘70s I took mine out that had a hole in the center. 0 adjustment. A machine shop made sets with holes in 2 other positions, then you can flip them over to get the other two positions. It wasn’t costly.
