Many streets in The Netherlands look like these; a lot of orange and a bit red, white and blue.

Are the people in Spain that crazy too?

Tom

See that Paul the Psychic Octopus predicts Spain to win over The Netherlands in the World Cup Final. Hopefully some consolation for Gerd with Paul picking Germany to beat Uruguay in the 3rd place playoff game. Paul has had a 100% success rate so far in predicting match winners. So the question is - Will Paul make successful predictions, or just come closer to being another seafood choice on the menu?

It's SPAIN

What a cephalopod! Paul takes the prize for his unbroken string of perfect predictions.

Mal, now, after the second goal for Argentina the next round for your team is hard to reach. But what I have seen so far was a great Socceroos team, motivated and ball-winning. 20 minutes left. I cross the fingers!

End of match. Three corners could have been the game changer.

Gerd,

A valiant effort by the Socceroos, best they've ever done at a World Cup. Watched the game at 6 am Sunday morning, Aussie time, impressed by Messi.

Mal, congrats. Only mature and strong people are able to applaud the opposing team.

If a married man is allowed to watch a game at 6 a.m., we have clear evidence that he is married to a sympathetic if not even wise woman.
