I’m looking for OD’s to put behind my 327.
Will either of these be applicable?

Neither one.
The Super 8 R-9 has a larger input shaft than your 23rd Series 327 and the 1951 unit is too long to fit properly plus a different rear mount

If you get an OD Trans make sure you get the whole "kit and kaboodle". ie all the parts necessary to accommodate and operate the OD. Such as the correct (usuallly shorter) tailshaft, the OD solenoid, the OD govenor, the OD kickdown switch and the OD Lock Out cable, bracket and knob. There's probably other very necessary items which I've missed! Good way to ensure you get all the essential bits is to get the complete "kit and kaboodle" from a parts car or from a vendor who has the lot.

Ah ha, yes I realized that about the 51 from a 24th series but I happen to have a couple of those rear arched mounts for the back of transmission and I was thinking I could probably make it work somehow. Will the front shaft from it work with my 327? I’m probably looking at a different flex plate I know

On the 1951 transmission, the side mount bosses are not machined, drilled or tapped for use in a pre-1951 car so a lot of work would be required to that and to the driveshaft before it would fit.

I know, probably a good amount of welding. I do have a drive shaft from a 24th series so maybe that will come into use.

I’m just really hoping that this 1950 donor car I’ve found in New Hampshire which I know is manual, has the correct upper bell housing and clutch parts so that I can use it with the R11.

This is from the donor car. That’s not a kickdown button right? That’s the button for the high beams, no?

Yes, that's the dimmer switch. The OD lockout is mounted on the lower edge of the dash
