Question(s): Does one need a Paypal accoumt to process a donation on the 'Donate" button? If not, is there a time lapse period for the donation to process? I went through and filled everything out for my $200 last night yet I don't see it having gone through my bank?? I AM up in Canada, so thought there might be a lag for the currency conversion aspect of the transaction. Just wanted to make sure my contribution made it's way. Chris.

In addition, a constellation would also be conceivable in which you cannot perceive any directly proportional account movement. Let's say you recently paid for a washing machine for $500 using Paypal, but then returned it dissatisfied. In the event of a refund, the money may remain in your Paypal account (if you chose this option yourself). Now, when you pay your generous $200 donation from that Paypal balance, nothing will move in your bank account.

Donated $356 as my '40 has a 356. It's also known as a Super 8. 356 sounded better than 8.

BigKev & packardinfo.com are great assets to the Packard community!

Without both I'd spend more time going in circles than I would restoring my car!!!

I am truly thrilled to see the response to this effort. The base target amount, 6 grand, is nearly met. I truly hope your support of the Jackard/Pinfo/Kevin feels as good for you as it does for me. (and in particular those who I reached out to who may have felt a bit of arm twisting...)

That said, I'd like to keep this fresh for those who are seeing this for the first time, or as a suggestion that you reach out to someone on Pinfo who you know and may want to direct their attention to this.

Additionally, my understanding is Kevin has gone with a recommendation to have the engine overhaul done in Longview, TX which ain't local to Kevin's home in North Aurora, IL. If anyone has an account with a good discount with an LTL freight company or a suggestion to get the engine transported reasonably, please advise.

Finally, anyone got any spare 3.8 Jag engine parts....

And Finally, Finally, if YOU have a wish list that I may help with (you know I am primarily pre-war junior), the elves may dig around in my parts closet. PM me.

Thank you, DAF
