Hello all

I'm new to this forum and to Packards. I'm curious as to what the track width was of the 1940 110? You know, the distance of the center of the tire to the center of the tire?

I don't have ready access to date for 1940, but for 1941 the 110 had a front tread of 59-9/16 and 60-5/16 rear. I don't have any reason to think 1940 would be different, but I'm sure someone who has the 1940 data handy will come along and verify or correct.

PS - my copy quality is also lousy, front could be 3/16, and the rear subject to the same limitation, even with a magnifying glass on the document.

From Service Letter/Counselor specs--a poor copy but think this one is 59 3/16.

I think he's asking about the track distance, not wheelbase.

G'day Fanbladeus,
to PackardInfo. Seeing your query is about a '40 110 I guess that's the Packard you own? If so, could you please include it in the Packard Owner's Registry, together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it?
