to James Russell Packard III, for including his '52 Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry.

However, and I will PM James about this, the MODEL NUMBER selected is 2595(200 Club Sedan) while the VIN NUMBER is 2562(200 Deluxe Touring Sedan). And this comment in the Vehicle History/Project Status field "Somebody from Kanter's said it was a 250, I am not sure yet." From what I understand 250's are the Mayfair Sports Coupe and the Convertible Coupe.

EDIT - Similar thing occurred for the Packard in this thread and it was sorted out.

Actually it could be something of a misnomer to call it a '38 Eight Convertible Coupe because it's a Darrin! And I think the first Darrin in the Registry. Interesting history and there's more pic's and info about the car in the links provided.

Home away from home

Thanks. I picked it up Monday. While it runs and drives, it's been sitting for awhile so I'm doing a thorough preventive maintenance on it before I take it too far.
