I thought it was a grille, but for what I couldn't tell. I am sure those original plastic grilles get really brittle. I have a '59 Rambler and barely touched the speaker grille once and 4 platic ribs broke inward. Took me forever to find another original. Getting parts from a vendor is like Christmas!
