Well ok. But i'm still wondering if he has ran into any trends. Trends such as cranks that have been ground to the max. Probably cylinder bores all cut to the max too. I don;t know. Just asking. Looking for trends. That's all.

How about this for a trend. We are talking about motors that are 55 years old MINIMUM. They passed their best before date when Cher was a virgin. Wonder why they are no longer pristine and in perfect condition.
What is worse they get a year older every 12 months.

Hi, Keith,
NO, most Packard V8s were junked out because the transmission failed before they got to high mileage. Main bearing wear, rocker arm tips, rocker shafts full of crud are things I watch for. jack vines

I look for young singers and actresses who look hot like Cher used to. Why would I look for worn bearings and crud while J Lo is out there?
