A very long day of finishing odds and ends, and loading the trailers. One trailer is now officially the Packard Info. fun run trailer. Pulling out at 8:00 a.m. AZ time tomorrow. Hope to do a bit of scouting in the early afternoon, and begin to meet up with everyone as they arrive.

Rolling out at 8am as well from this side. GPS is showing 4.5 hrs door to door. I'm pretty sure it will be closer to 4 hrs.

Sorento is loaded to the gills with Packardness in back. Basically all the remaining Yocum cache, and other assorted parts are coming with me for the swap meet.

Also heard from Jim Stow and his wife and there drive down from Canada is going faster that expected, and they are currently in Grand Junction, CO for evening with a projected arrival into Laughlin in lat afternoon on Thursday.

Late developments allow me to attend the meet in Laughlin. Although I'm somewhat of a "local" (~100 miles), personal issues prevented me from planning to attend. Those issues have now been cleared, so I'm excited about attending. I too will be taking pix and posting. A fun time should be had by all.

Tonight was just an arrival night and setup. Here are a couple of pics. That's Jim and I in the first one posing with his 1940 Super 8 160 Convertible Sedan. Notice the sign in the background. 2nd picture is a night time shot of several of the cars that have already arrive.

-Unloading of Jim's 39 and 40 from their trailers.
-The "fenders" being delivered from the trunk of my Kia to the waiting trailers.
-While we were out cruising the town in Jim '40 Convertible, we crashed a cruise night/car show that was happening at a another hotel.

Looks like fun! I and Roy Krunk will be there tomorrow, probably after your drive to Oatman, but only because of the travel distance for Roy (we can't make it by departure time). We'll meet y'all in the lot and then in the bar for story swapping!

Jim: I have the PV8C oil pump conversion along with the original Packard V-8 pump, the Olds HV pump in hand for show and tell for those interested! These are the real pumps with the actual kit that Jack Vines is now selling. I, Keith, and somebody (banned) helped develop.

it appears we have similar taste in Kias...i also have a new sorento, but in silver, not grey.
