Wanted: Brake Drums for '56 Clipper Custom

I'm looking for a full set of brake drums (2 front and 2 rear) drums for my '56 Clipper Custom. New ones would be great, but I'm sure they are hard to find. Used drums that have been refurbished/turned will also work.

I'm also in need of the rubber break lines for the two front wheels.

Do you have what I'm looking for, or can you refer me to someone you may have what I'm looking for? Any help you can provide is much appreciated!

Mike Dulinski and probably Kanter Auto Products for used drums, new will be scarce. Hoses available from NAPA.

While you're changing the front brake hoses it'd be a good idea to change the third hose that is in the line going to the rear brakes, just in front of the rear axle area. The hose is the same as the front brakes use so you might as well get all three.

Don, thank you for suggesting to change the third/rear hose.

Front and rear hoses are different, rear is just a bit longer. If still current and available the AutoZone numbers are 88226 front and 88284 rear. These do NOT come with new copper crush washers so save your old ones and refinish the surfaces if needed, or just buy or make new ones from soft copper shaft stock.

Ken, You're welcome. I had an internally-collapsed right side hose so changed them both. Rear hose looked OK/worked OK. Then a year later found its' outer casing splitting apart and peeling off. Very fortunate I saw it before it ruptured.

O_D, thanks for setting me straight on the 55-56 hoses. The 51-54 hoses are all the same length.
