If you stood outside of the building, you could see several chimneys rising out of the roof. Each of those chimneys would let out a puff and column of white "smoke" which was actually hot steam. A very magical look to the process.

This process is still available from SMS Fabrics of Canby, Oregon. The have the original showroom selection books, the fabrics, vinyl and other materials, and the manufacturing equipment.
