Sidemounts were an accessory on all but the 110s, which had fenders that were too short to handle them. As far as I know, they could be added to any 120 and higher model and factory body style and the mirrors were an accessory to the accessory.

G'day Cardav901,
to PackardInfo. I invite you to include your '40 (Looks like 160/180 from the taillights) Coupe in the Packard Vehicle Registry.

Gorgeous car and it looks like it's keeping good company! Don's got it right, the sidemounts were optional on all the larger cars, regardless of the body style. That is a beauty!

Thank you sir, it is a beautiful car as I am trying to figure out a few things regarding it. I have these numbers and tried looking them up to see if it would provide me with any information about the car, but drew a blank. I truly appreciate all the kind people on this website with their knowledge.

Your theft-proof or body serial number identifies your car body as a VERY late 1940 body. The number provides no additional information, apparently none of the factory records correlating this number to other vehicle data have survived and only a very limited number (less than 1000) of the dealer copies of those records are extant. I've checked those I'm aware of and your car is not included in them.
