Hi BigKev,

Many thanks for creating this site, without it another Packard would have been lost forever.

Like others, I had hoped to sign the card in person, but time and tide wait for no man.

Well, Kev, I have to say that the payoff for all the work in putting this package together and circulating it around the world was hearing of your reception - and well worth it!

If they haven't already, I'll bet that even your co-workers who couldn't care less about old cars are checking out P'Info after seeing all those goodies.

As others have noted, this site has revolutionized the Packard hobby - a breath of fresh air that has been needed for years. IMHO, what is happening here shows that the "graying of the hobby" is sorely misunderstood.

Now, in the age of the Blackberry, 3G, 4G, etc. you can stroll up and down the aisles of a car show or swap meet, tramp through a boneyard, or look into a "barn find" with all sorts of helpful Packard information at your fingertips.

Those who choose not to contribute to this "un-club" are only shortchanging themselves.

Here's wishing you, PackardInfo, and its supporters many more years of continued enjoyment of the hobby!

Kevin,

Congratulations on the 3rd anniversary of P'Info! As many have already stated, this website has been an awesome resource and a great place to meet like-minded, equally deluded, slightly crazed fellow Packard nuts.

Best Regards,

Tom

p.s. Thank you for your kind words about the card. I am glad it turned out well.

Boy the respondents are quick. It puts me in the late to arrive category. I was lucky enough to get to sign the card. I was proud to do it. Your efforts have built a site unparalleled by any other collector site. I used to frequent another or two. Now, I find myself simply logging on to P'info and not needing to go elsewhere. A great deal more technical information is available here and a great many knowledgeable people willing to share with those that need it are here as well.
Many Many thanks for your dedication and hard work.
Long live the king(or Kev as it proves to be).

G'day Kev
What a delight to hear your surprise arrived and with an unwrap process required to boot! The team did well.

The PACA National proved to be an excellent event to put a number of Aussies on the page - Mal did well.

I don't know whether your friends, work colleagues, wife and kids quite understand what your hobby has become - a world wide connection.

It is hard to explain to those who observe, support and dabble in the hobby the passions that exist around a brand of car!! Defies logic, but I guess the vision of social and life connections that started with automobiles just over 100 years continues in those that love this brand.

Thanks for your vision on the Packardinfo connection

Good onya mate

Guys I really do appreciate all the kind words, and all the multi-national covert sorties that were involved in putting together the wonderful gift. It really does mean a lot to me. Who would have thought 3-years ago the website would have grown to where it is now. It's really the quality of the people that participate here that make it great.

Also it's nice to see what the Packard "Mal"content Underground can do when they are tasked with a mission!
