I can't seem to find a fuel pump repair kit for my 1937 6 cylinder sedan. I believe it is a 120 model with a fire-wall tag number of 1082-31937.
Does anyone know where I might find a company that makes the kits or diaphragm?

Max Merrit may have kits. A 6 cylinder car will be a 115 model. (?)

Is it an AC pump? If so, there should be a number stamped in the pump’s flange and that’s important in case there were different pumps used (with different kits) or in case the pump isn’t the original.

I have received the fuel fuel kit from Max Merritt and it appears to be correct.
I took several pictures while disassembling the fuel pump to ensure proper reassembly, but while removing the rocker assembly, the rocker and 3 fingers slipped from my hand and I am not sure I have them back in the proper position.
Does anyone have pictures of how they look assembled.
It also would help to know the best sequence for reassembly into the pump housing as it looks to be blind putting the 3 fingers back into the diaphragm stem slots.

Any ideas or pics will help.

Eleventh edition of Motors Manual says the 37 six and eight used a model AJ pump. If so this photo may help. If another model, Motors may have a photo of it as well.

Other than having a different arm, that’s nearly identical to the one I recently rebuilt for my 1951! Maybe this photo of it will help and I have others too.

Thanks to Tgoat and Packard Don for their previous help. I installed the new fuel pump parts and all went well except for the reassembly of the diaphragms into the pump housing.
Should the vacuum diaphragm be installed before the pump side diaphragm? Also, I can't seem to get the pump rocker finger to slip through slot in the diaphragm stem.
Sorry for the long delay between posts, but this is a spare time project.

It’s tricky and just needs perseverance but I am unaware of any special tricks. I typically install it first, though, as on some pumps I can look through where the fuel diaphragm goes to see that I’m doing inside.

Thanks, Don. This project has taken longer than expected. The pump had been rebuilt many years ago (60) and not enough
material on the diaphragm stem to re-peen and had to braze material on the end to make long enough and then machine
to size. (1/4")
