JW,
Those pictures look great. What are you using to take them?

I believe they were all taken with my daughter's iPhone4. I agree they are exceptionally sharp. They were large files (2-3mb) when I got them and had to tone down the size to be accepted for posting.

Just an update on the release date of "Parkland" the Tom Hanks produced HBO movie about the Kennedy assassination, and starring my 55 Clipper and Jackie Weaver. It is scheduled for November 8, the 50th anniversary of the event.

Hmmmm, see the Clipper gets top billing over Jackie Weaver!

Great stuff JW. Your Packard is a gem. I just love her look and I'm smitten with Clipper envy.
I look forward to Mr. Hank's end product. I've always enjoyed his films from BIG, BAND of BROTHERS, APOLLO 13 and so many quality movies. I also thought of a couple of quotes to have fun with! "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." Gloria Swanson Sunset Boulevard 1950 "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful; hate me because... Well, okay. Hate me because I'm beautiful." One of my favorite quotes from a Tom Hanks movie was in "Saving Private Ryan". There was a scene where the group, led by Hanks character, was moving behind the lines and they were expressing their doubts to Capt. Miller about their mission. To paraphrase Hanks said that you don't bitch down you bitch up. You guys bitch to me, but I do not bitch to you, I bitch up the chain. Or something like that. Class act. Don't forget his role in "Castaway" one of my favorites.

This will close the loop on the Clipper and the movie. The scene the Clipper was in did not make it to the final version of "Parkland". Turns out it would have been an inaccurate depiction. Mrs. Oswald heard about the shooting while in her home in Fort Worth, not driving down the street listening to the car radio. So close, but so far...
