I am currently working on a 33 Club Sedan that has one year exclusive pivot pane window ventilation. I am in desperate need of new rubber seals for this beauty. She's restored to perfection minus these parts. Can anyone help me with info as to where I can find a source for this? If so- Please contact Robert Moore or John Alley at: Muscle Car Alley - Escondido, CA, USA --(760)735-9877
I will also be checking this forum regularly for answers.
Please Help

I removed your duplicate posts from the other forums, what way you only have to check one forum for the answers.

Good luck.

G'day the guru,
I'd like to you to PackardInfo, but sorry I can't help with your request except to ask have you tried Steele Rubber?
https://secure.steelerubber.com/search_frameset.php

But with a nom de plume of "the guru" I would have thought you'd know!

As of a year ago, and to the best of my knowledge, nobody has reproduced these seals for sale. I have heard rumors that a couple people paid to have molds made or dies for rubber extrusion, but the rights to that tooling remain with those people.

B. Blevins in Michigan would be your best bet. Please let me know what you find out as I am also in need of these seals.

Can you post some photos of your sedan?

Found a way to reseal the pivot pane window system. Popular opinion says nobody makes the seals. Steelerubber.com offers a rubber for a 34 convert. that with a little hot butyl will work. Waiting for the rubber to be shipped and then I will doc. the process I have engineered to make a perfect repro seal. In the mean time here are some some pics of the beauty I've had the pleasure to rebuild. Enjoy. And feel free to ask comments on the for-mentioned process... LOL

You have a very good looking Packard. It reminds of the few times that I have rode in a 1933 Packard V12 Convertible Sedan.

What is the color combination that you painted the car.

Were you able to present your plan for sealing the windows on a '33? I, too, am waiting for a good fix on that sealing. Russ
