Sounds like him, Jim from 'Trulyvintage'. I'm not sure if his truck is a SRW or DRW, but the trailer is 4 axle.

He dropped the car off last Sunday, since I was on vacation until then.

Did you see it on the road??

Yea, more or less. He came by the school I work at here in Phoenix to make a delivery for Flackmaster and me.

I spent a bit of time looking it over. Neat looking car, done tastefully. Funny, the week before, there was a very rare, un-restored Pierce Arrow travel trailer on his car hauler.

Small world.

He specializes in vintage travel trailers, buying/selling/hauling. Does cars too. Check out his website (trulyvintage.com), nice pictures.

Car looks to be solid, mechanically well done too. Needs paint soon, and that interior... yikes! That has to change sooner, maybe to some nice leather.

Even stranger, looks like the same trailer. Looks like your car and that trailer went for quite an adventure. Neat!

G'day Steve,
for adding your '40 to the Registry. Unfortunately I couldn't open up your entry to see the details but I'll have another look tomorrow, it's nighttime here in Australia. Packardinfo has been a bit clunky tonight so maybe after BigKev weaves his Webmasterly magic it'll open then.

Mal, I checked everything out and everything appears to be running fine. I also check the registry and was able to open Steve's entry without any issue. As they say in the programing world when you can't reproduce a bug, "NFF" - No Fault Found.

I know my Server provider does updates around 7-8pm (PST)in the evening, and sometimes that causes slowness while the server is performing updates.

Let me know if it's still an issue for you.

AL: Thanks for the e-mail address for the Packard Dealer roster keeper. I had gone to the PAC website to provide information on my father's dealership, and found a name but no way to e-mail. The PAC directory didn't have this information either. Much appreciated.
