It survived WW-II and is thought to be somewhere in Connecticut. The Dutch government is laying claim to it. John (JW), thanks. AACA.com has been one step ahead. A reader's letter recorded the car history. picture source: flickr.com Quote: Yes, the buckets for the headlights are unusual in the front AND rear. European sealed beams may have been smaller, but the rear of the buckets themselves seem different. Randy, in terms of the rear ends we are probably confused by the shadow play of the flagstaff (picture attached). Attach file: (16.40 KB)

12th June 1952, Argentina President Juan Peron and his wife Eva Peron wave as they ride down the Avenida de Mayo in Buenos Aires after the inauguration as President for another 6 year term. It was the last public appearence of Eva Peron. Comparable to the back brace of JFK she wore special belts to hold her in upright position. One months later she died.

The Peron Packard has been recovered from Argentina and is back in the US, fully restored a few years ago.

This is at the Peterson, and the claim is that it is the last car she ever rode in:

Unless the photo from Argentina has been 'flipped' the steering wheel has migrated from right to left.
