1941 180 Packard. Just like the lines on these. This one looks decent on the outside, but the upholstery does not look correct to my admittedly untrained eye.

Also put off by the pitted chrome just below speedometer.

While I'm at it, the undercarriage looks like it had an exceptionally superficial spraying of some kind of black stuff.

If it doesn't have jump seats, how is it a limo?

Or am I being excessively harsh?

Any thoughts on a real world selling price (or this dealer)?

I don't know about being too harsh, but you did put too much faith in the seller's errant description as the car isn't a 180 but a 160. Apparently the seller didn't notice the long, chrome emblems affixed to both sides of the hood and the trunk lid that read, "One Sixty."

Looks like a decent car overall; hope it goes to a loving garage.

According to the VN of 1462-2453, which the seller references and also provides a photo of, it's a '41 One-Sixty Super Eight Touring Sedan!

At least he got the 160 in the title of the listing. Wonder how long the horizontal ventilation tube has been installed backwards and useless.

I'm not a fan of that dealer. I asked a question years ago ona car and flamed out on me. Not a dealer fan overall.

10 years later during the rock 'n' roll era one could see this stylistic feature at every turn (exterior, interior, barstools, jukeboxes, refrigerators, coffee machines, ...).

Absolutely true and it was a later retrofit addition as well. Packard suggested adding it to earlier models but undoubtedly not done to many 356 engines. I'm just saying that if someone is going to the trouble to bolt it on the car, at least it could be installed correctly so it would have a fighting chance to do what it was supposed to.

My rust comment was about what seems like rust to me in this pic of the speedometer.

Yes, his brown bomber looks rusty. Let us assume that he is a master painter but masking tape has been completely sold out all over the country and his spray gun lost the fight against the shifting wind.
