Interesting looking 54. Appears to need a bit of work to have a few changes over the years corrected--Guess there wasn't an abundance of parts in Paraguay either--or maybe operator preference in moving some controls. You mention stick shift but I don't see a clutch pedal.
Is that a 53 Clipper poking it's taillight out on the side in pict 2?

Kev,
Know it's more work for you, but how about including a field for the "Thief-Proof" Number in the Model Information section of the Owner Registry entries? Don't know why I didn't think of this before.

Ah, I thought for a second that 54 pat could have been Col. Jesse G. Vincent's car (5452-2469) but not the right number....was just reading about it in 'The Packard Cormorant'

Do you know if the former owner moved to Germany and brought the cars with him or if the dealer imported the cars from Paraguay. Either way, would think the freight cost would be terrible.
Still wonder why the green one had the changes on dash. Maybe a fire extinguisher & bracket?? is why emergency brake moved but appears light switch moved also and dummy filler of some kind installed in the normal place.

Interesting on the red 200 that the Briggs number and the Vehicle Number are still in sequence with such a high production number.
Maybe there is hope that my Briggs number was the same as the missing Vehicle number on my car.

Gerd,
I agree. I am going to be making some master changes to the owner's registry soon anyway to format it better. So I will add the Theft number into the mix at that time. -kev

But what are the short moss covered brief case looking things that are 2 or 3 feet away from the right front wheel of the green Packard????
