I'm not sure if Energy Suspension makes anything that would fit. But that is what I used for my on the front sway-bar on my '54. I believe theres are polyurethane and are available in Black or Red.
I know they have a variety of difference size/styles of suspension bushings, so I guess its a question of going through there catalog and seeing if anything matches up.

I don't quite understand, as these same shocks are used on postwar cars as well. Perhaps General Discussion would be better.

Shocks are similar postwar, but appears several changes were made in that bushing area.

Please note that the bolt is to be tightened until the arms of the shock contact the metal sleeve that is shown being inserted into the rubber bushings. That controls the amount of crush on the rubber. Could be this sleeve was a little short and squished the rubber too much? More likely the rubber was the wrong type, or a bit too large. The washers are handy to help bring the nut to a hole so it can be pinned.
