Few more from the Northwest. A whole bunch of 55's

1955 Four Hundred, unknown miles, "non-running needs floors". Ugly green metallic paint. Looks like no engine in the car based on the ride height of the front. $2,495

1955 Four Hundred. Rose Quartz and White Jade...great color combo. Rough shape. Project, but definitely salvageable with work and money. Maybe a bit overpriced for condition. $5,500
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1503097930089228/

1955 Clipper Constellation. Some new stuff, some stuff non-op (gauges). Looks like exhaust routed to the side, rear bumper spray painted. Interior looks nice. Can't tell if the first pic shows the car as it is now, or as it was. Reasonable price $6,500

1955 Clipper Super Panama. Ready to enjoy. Nice paint and excellent interior. Looks to be restored close to original from what I can tell. A few oddities in the engine bay maybe, and some interesting trunk upholstery, but overall a gorgeous car. 9.5/10. Not cheap. $17,250

The 1952 200 is indeed a 1951 200 and after some conversation with the owner, it sounds like a good, solid original car. His hopes are to find someone willing to restore, rather than hot rod, it. Should the CL listing disappear, PM me and I’ll put you in touch with him.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

That patched hole in the side of the 31 crankcase is interesting. My guess is that was a portable power plant for a water pump or sawmill. The VIN plate is interesting because the screws are backwards, which begs the question - When was the plate actually installed? The later cars with the three piece bulkhead required a lot of work in that regard. Did they just beat on it? The fonts and workmanship are all different. Everybody who worked at those dealers is dead. So maybe that is another Packard mystery.

The fuel pump casting is not the easiest thing to find either.

Are we sure the '55 was Craig's?
