Agree Brent's plug wire sets are an excellent value. Note they do have straight red/orange plug boots.

If someone really wants the most authentic-looking high tension sets that include the 135 degree boot and doesn't want to make them up themselves, Dwight Heinmuller sells such sets. No points deducted in national PAC judging that I'm aware of. Dwight advertises profusely in PAC publications and probably has a website as well.

I have been searching online for a wire set for my 55 Clipper, and seems to me that the 90 degree ends will not really work out too well, even though they are saying it's a perfect fit for the application. Ideas anyone?

Dwight Heinmuller still advertises sets having the correct 35 degree angle used in 55-6. Have you tried his store to see if currently available?

G'day Randy Maull,
to PackardInfo.

I invite you to include your '55 Clipper in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

And I notice under Interests in your profile you list Spitfires, are these of the Triumph or Supermarine variety?

I got a set from Dwight for my 1956 Clipper Custom and they look very nice although I've not yet installed them. Anyone seeing this with '55 or '56 needing set, be prepared to answer which type of supports your car has (one piece or two piece) as it was apparently a change somewhere along the way from one to the other.

Note wires for #5 and #7 have been separated to mitigate current induction between these two cylinders.
