Don,

Like your reasoning but can only imagine why you'd say that!

First, the Flackmistress is nowhere near 50!!! As for Big Kev being in Dallas, yes, then to East Texas Packard Party. And for the record...the nailpolish it is Packard hex red...

I don't know how I might have missed this thread, but now I know why you asked.

BTW, could you please supply the maker and shade of red? I might need to touch up a little red hex. Is it expensive? do you think it would hold up well in the elements? Would judges at a show deduct points? Is there an alternative to the nail polish? could it be clear coated? So many questions! I need answers...

Go away for a couple of days and suddenly my shoes are the topic of discussion! Go figure. LOL

Had a wonderful time with the Flacks, and it was nice to meet almost the entire East Texas Packard region membership all at once.

Currently I am in Northern New Jersey where the temp is a brisk 27f. Plan to get together with more Packardites tonight, and then back to California tomorrow.

Sitting at the airport in Newark, waiting for my flight back to Calif (assuming Southern Calif hasnt wahed into the ocean before I get there).

Had very nice dinner last night with Dave (Owen-D), Ole, John, and many others both form here on the website, and in the general North Jersey area, who braved the cold and met us. John brought out his '41 and I was given a nice drive around the neighborhood in it.

It for sure has been a Packard filled business trip with spending the weekend with the Flacckmaster & Flackmistress, the Eastern Texas X-Mas party and the dinner with last last night the all the folks here in Northern New Jersey.. I can only hope more business trips work out this good!

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful hospitality and have a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Years.

I've enjoyed the hospitality of some folks in New Jersey and they always make you feel welcome. Glad you had a nice business/pleasure visit and it is always great to talk with folks face-to-face. Better have your boots on when you land. The water is getting deep.

Just landed in Dallas, waiting for my connection. Area around house is wet, but no flooding. But may have to outfit truck with pontoons to transverse the 15 miles between airport and home.
