1941 Packard Vin plate

Hi, I'm new to the forum, looks like a great site!I've got a question for the experts out there.... I'm currently restoring a 1941 Packard 160 Deluxe convertible that has the vin plate riveted in place. I have access to a 1941 160 sedan that has the vin plate screwed on with straight slot screws. Which is correct? I'm attaching a pic of the screwed on plate for reference. Thanks in advance for any info!!

They were screwed in so the dealer could remove them to stamp in the delivery information

If the car is truly a DeLuxe 160 (VN DE 1479-2XXX) it's considerably rarer than the standard 160 convertible, there are very few known to exist. If you're willing to assist me in my research on the thief-proof numbers (large embossed number on the engine side of the cowl, <5XXXXX), I'd appreciate a PM with the VN and thief-proof#.
