So much detail in the description and it's not even a 300! This is a junior model on the 122" wheelbase, not a senior 300 on 127" wheelbase, which is evident by the vertical glass taillights. The 300 and other seniors had the side by side plastic lenses with a chrome fin rising up between them and onto the top of the fender. I don't know the 1951 junior models that well but by the VIN it's likely a 200 deluxe touring sedan.
As mentioned, note the Egyptian hood ornaments used as tail fins along with the original front turn signals converted to fog/running lights and the addition of the lights on the front fenders. Not sure what the odd thing is on the top of the steering column or why it has such a huge battery. The wheel covers look strange too so not exactly a "restoration" older or otherwise.

I see an overdrive relay. That's a fine cruising machine.

Does it have a hood latch? Looks aftermarketet, or homemade?

The engine should be Grey not Green shouldn't it? The oil bath air cleaner was an extra cost item as well... or added later. Maybe not the original motor?

I believe that mechanism near the radiator is to pull up a winterfront on a cold Iowa February morning.

Interesting on the winter front. Those of us in the more temperate regions never see things like that. Wonder what the inside looks like when it is pulled up -- a handle and rod like the emergency brake or just a knob hanging off the chain or cable or something else??
