Half of the discs on were used on the roof alone.

Aftermarket mirrors showed up today. I really dont like them that much where they are, but it was the only position where the passenger side mirror was visible from my driving position. Now I see why the Packard mirrors were mounted on the belt line strip. These ones will have to do until the reproduction Packard ones are in the budget.

Can you post a photo of the disc you are using? How has it acted on thin metal areas? Any scratching?

Clipper's looking good Kev with the added bonus of driving it while you finish it. Congratulations, you must be very pleased.
Concerning long arm mirrors I have one on the Coupe. It's a necessity, especially here in a RHD car in a LHD environment. Not perfect but good enough to get me in and out of traffic as well as move into the passing lane. Attach file: (20.04 KB)

Replaced the rear muffler bracket this weekend. To replace it you have to from the muffler frame support. This is i realized the part that Max Merritt sent me was not made correctly. The metal bottom portion of the bracket was made too wide, and because of that it would not fit into the frame support correctly. So I had to use an angle grinder down the base of the bracket until it fit. Then I remounted it.
